I've produced a range of brand guidelines and toolkits for identities that I've design and for existing brands and campaigns.

I enjoy bringing a brand’s visual elements together in one cohesive place, whether it’s a straightforward PDF or a more interactive experience.

Below are some examples that I've created for various brands during my time as a freelancer.
National Literary Trust
Campaign Toolkit & Asset Design
Libraries for Primaries is a National Literacy Trust campaign in association with Penguin Random House.

With the brand positioning, identity and key visuals in place, I developed the identity toolkit and designed print and digital campaign assets.

This was produced in collaboration with 999 Design.
Swinton Insurance
Brand & Campaign Guidelines
Excess Cover is a sub brand of Swinton Insurance, providing cover for vehicle hire, travel, home and pets.

The core identity and campaign visuals were in place when I was asked to create the brand and campaign guidelines as well as sub brand logos. I developed further campaign assets for the car hire adverts, ensuring consistency and flexibility across formats.

This was produced in collaboration with 999 Design.

The Press & Journal
Brand Identity Guidelines
I have collaborated regularly with DC Thomson, both at agency and freelance level.

The most comprehensive project to date was developing brand identity guidelines for each news brand, starting with The P&J as the blueprint. A number of teams produce assets using the brand every day, therefore a detailed and accessible breakdown of the identity was required.

Additionally, I developed a refreshed colour palette for use in print and online, refined the historic logo while maintaining its character and designed a number of campaign assets.
Scottish Seafood Club
Brand Guidelines
Scottish Seafood Club is a sub organisation of Seafood Scotland. They exist to provide promotional support and drive the sustainable growth of independent retailers of Scottish seafood.

I helped refine and develop the visual identity and produced a set of brand guidelines, graphic devices and printed materials.
