Old Pulteney, The Maritime Malt, asked WIRE to develop a Christmas campaign to encourage purchase of their whiskies – particularly the 12-year-old expression – in the run up to and during the festive period.
Having recently relaunched its range, the brand wanted something that felt fresh for its first nationwide seasonal campaign in years. And because the whisky's core consumer is a repertoire malt drinker, it needed to ensure brand recall.
Old Pulteney needed to come to mind when shoppers were faced with a shelf of seemingly similar products while picking up a loved one's Christmas present.
